Maggie diet

Want to lose weight without feeling hungry all the time? Then, the Maggi diet is what you need! In this article, you will find advice from nutritionists, a menu of available products and recipes for orange and prunes desserts!

Maggie diet rules

Some nutrition methods are based on biochemistry. The Maggi diet falls into this category. Therefore, if you decide to take this course, you must strictly comply with all requirements. And in some cases you can cheat-for example, by replacing the ingredients indicated in the menu, the Maggi diet is not allowed to violate the regulations. But it is worth sticking to the results for a month without rushing to buy prohibited products.

Origin History

Someone suggested "coming" to us Maggi diet from the UK, and Margaret Thatcher became its founder. The Prime Minister did not suffer from being overweight, nor did he set his own goal of inventing a person. However, there is information that Margaret himself said that the secret of harmony is as follows: You need to eat 28 eggs a week. No wonder the Maggi diet is also called eggs.

Thatcher wrote down a two-week ration menu to keep him healthy. This became the prototype of the diet and got the name "Marguerite"-the abbreviation of Marguerite. It is unclear who is the author of "Part Two" of "Maggi". The obvious effect of low-carbohydrate protein diet has been proven by many dieters.

Rules

McGee's low-carb diet strictly abides by the following rules:

  • You can delete any product from the menu, but it is forbidden to replace it at your own discretion. The only exception is to use cheese instead of eggs if you are allergic to eggs;
  • , the food you need to eat is exactly the same as specified in the menu;
  • It is forbidden to exchange meals;
  • Boil vegetables in water without soup;
  • It is forbidden to add various fats to food.
  • You need to drink more water;
  • You can drink tea/coffee at any time, but without sugar and milk;
  • It is allowed to use sweeteners instead of sugar;
  • Drinking is strictly prohibited-Maggi's chemical diet is incompatible with alcohol;
  • It is forbidden to eat potatoes, bananas, grapes, mangoes, figs, dates;
  • Cereals, pasta and lamb are banned;
  • Salad cannot be seasoned;
  • If you feel unbearable hunger between two main meals, then please eat cucumber, carrot or salad-but only 2 hours after the meal is recommended;
  • If you interrupted the course (for example, eating contraband), you need to start again.

For better results, it is recommended that you exercise or at least walk more, go outdoors, and try to spend at least seven hours a day sleeping. After Maggi eats, the stomach shrinks, so you will be satisfied with less food. The advantage of Maggi is that in addition to improving eating habits, it can also correct eating habits: after you leave, you are unlikely to want to eat sweets and high-fat foods.

Contraindications

The Maggi diet is definitely not suitable for people who are allergic to certain foods (eggs and citrus fruits). It is also strictly prohibited for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Under the strict supervision of people with gastrointestinal disease, cardiovascular system disease, kidney or liver disease, diet should be done.

The number of eggs in Maggie’s diet has been controversial. However, nutritionists say that if you don’t over-eat high-fat foods, then eating this amount of eggs is acceptable.

Maggi’s diet has strict restrictions, but it’s hard to call her hungry. Although there is a strict nutrition system (this method can provide a large amount of boiled vegetables), it is still easy to diversify the allowed products using various formulas.

Stuffed eggs

Ingredients:

  • 2 boiled eggs;
  • 1-2 tablespoons of cheese (fat content not exceeding 9%);
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic-seasoning;
  • dill;
  • Salt, pepper-seasoning.

Cut the hard-boiled egg in half and remove the yolk. Add cheese, dill, garlic (use a garlic press), pepper and salt to the egg yolk. Mix everything thoroughly. You should get a mushy block, which should be half full of protein.

You can also mash peas as a side dish.

Prune and dessert soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 Mandarin;
  • 45 grams of plum;
  • 300 grams of water;
  • 2 kinds of sweetener tablets.

Rinse the prunes, remove the seeds, and chop them. Then pour in hot water, add sweetener and boil for 5 minutes. At the same time, peel the oranges, first remove the oranges, and then wipe them with a grater. Add a teaspoon of peel to the dried prunes and break the mixture with a blender.

Put Mandarin slices into the soup before eating.

Grilled tomatoes with cheese

Ingredients:

  • 3 plates of cheese (20 grams each), with a fat content of 16%;
  • 2 tomatoes;
  • 1 piece of rye bread;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • dill;
  • Season with salt.

Peel the tomatoes. Grate the cheese and garlic. Finely crushed bread. Then mix the grated cheese with garlic and crumbled bread. Season with salt and pepper. Fill the tomatoes with the resulting ingredients and put them in the oven for 5 minutes. Sprinkle fresh dill on the finished dish.

Give up eating

The exit should be gradual, so as to successfully resolve the results of weight loss, and the body will not bear severe loads.

  • In the next week after the treatment, include the foods that the body is used to during the diet. They are: boiled or grilled chicken breast, cheese with as low as 9% fat content, apples, citrus fruits;
  • Don't pounce on the foods excluded from the diet-fried potatoes, pastries, rice, pasta;
  • The results of weight loss can be maintained by eating according to the "minus 60" system;
  • Remember to keep track of the quantity and portion of food. Remember, snacks are the key to health.
